Description

Under Lao PDR COVID-19 RESPONSE PROJECT MoH with support of the World Bank Group, UrbanWaters Consulting GmbH and their partners have developed this training on medical wastewater management to relevant project stakeholder in managing and treating medical wastewater from healthcare facilities in Laos. The entire training content and recording of the sessions will be accessible for all participants through this online course.

The course is designed for a diverse group of stakeholders involved in medical wastewater management. The course includes basics of medical wastewater management approaches, risk mitigation measures and assessment of medical wastewater management.
The course also covers design, operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plants. The techniques for sampling and analysing basic wastewater parameter will also be covered in the sessions.
